There are many image editing programs on the market, but a great deal of them are aimed at professionals and require deep knowledge and practice. Home Photo Studio is, as its name implies, a program for home users with little or no experience in using this type of software. It has an intuitive graphic interface allowing you to access the main functions through a number of icons. This way, you can make adjustments to your photos that can range from the most basic like auto-adjusting the brightness, contrast and color, to more complex processes like manually adjusting each of the color channels. Also, you can apply different effects like vintage photo, fish-eye, watercolor, tunnel, and so on. Once you have obtained the photo you want, you can apply one of the several frames included, add text and convert your photo into a greeting card using one of the attached templates.
The trial version shows a "nag screen" every time you run the program. Also, you can use it only 30 times. If you find it useful and intend to keep using it, then you need to purchase the full version. There is also a Deluxe version with more features like Photoshop compatibility and many more templates.
